We’re partnering with a local farmer who has been supporting small businesses his whole life: Ted Casey, of Casey’s Berries… yes, THAT Casey’s Berries and Casey’s Family Farm, and yes, his daughter Julianna is one of ours.
Tomorrow, Thursday July 23rd, you’ll get 6 ears of delicious sweet corn, from Casey’s Farm with any purchase.

The Casey family has been farming the same ground in New Richmond, WI since 1896, when Ted’s great-grandfather William bought the first 80 acres. Back then it was just a log cabin and one tree. The cabin burned down in 1903, the family rebuilt in 1906, and they got through the Depression selling strawberries.
There is certainly more to the story than that, but that’s all we got out of Ted.
Over the years the farm has raised sheep (up to 150 at once, with wool to share), beef cattle, pigs, and chickens, alongside the berries and produce it’s still known for.
He’s also the star of his own video series, “Ted Outstanding in the Field,” posted to Casey’s Berries’ Facebook page. The man is out standing in his cornfield, literally. Go watch one, you’ll see what we mean. You’ll come to love Ted’s field updates as much as we do.
