Save the date for our 1st ever Sheep to Something Event! Saturday and Sunday, September 28th and 29th.
You’ve heard of Sheep to Shawl events right? They are usually at fiber festivals and they are team competitions that follow the fleece of a sheep from sheep to Shawl. Yep, teams prep, spin and knit/crochet/weave a shawl all in one day!
Wellllll, you know us. We just have to give it a go!
It’s our first year, we have 1 team of friends of DKA and 1 team of DKA Rockstars ready to compete. We decided to call it Sheep to Something, because we just can’t be sure what we’ll make, but it’ll be something alright.
Saturday will be filled with fibery demos and more from your favorite DKA Rockstars.
Sunday will be our Sheep to Something Competition!
We’ll have a marketplace both days with farmers and shepherds from the area with local yarn and fiber.
