We were so proud to share our Shop Hop 2018 theme this year. The theme for the hop was Inspired by Heroes. Our heroes…Military Families.
We asked for and you sent us, and brought us, photos of your military heroes. We posted them on our bulletin board. We loved hearing your stories. We were weepy for days.
We asked you to write a thank you to a service member. We collected over 50 letters, and sent them on to A Million Thanks.
Our yarn? It was beautiful. Sweet Georgia Yarns did another beautiful job.
We were inspired by this reunion photo.
We designed this easy cowl that can be knit anywhere, without the need to look at a pattern. Perfect to knit “While Waiting”.
The pattern was designed to look like a postcard. We put a picture of our beloved Nanny Jean on the stamp. She was in the service during WWII in England. The postcard was made to look like a card our Nanny Jean’s sister Margaret might have sent to her. So sweet.
Thanks to all of you for stopping into the shop on during the hop. We are proud to know all of your stories. We can’t bring ourselves to take down the photo wall:)
