This year’s PEEP event runs from Saturday, July 28th through Sunday, August 5th.
Yep, you heard right…it’s 9 days long.
Here’s the deal…
Laura, from 3 Kittens Needle Arts, has designed a shawl using 6 mini skeins and 1 full skein of fingering weight yarn. Every shop has knit a sample with the same 6 colors of mini skeins and a main color of their choice. Photos of the finished shawls will be posted on our Facebook event page the first day of the event.
At each shop…
You’ll get a piece of the pattern. The pattern has been divided into 6 pieces. You’ll need to visit all 6 shops to get the complete pattern.
You’ll get the chance to purchase the mini skein from that shop. Each shop has one of the 6 colors of mini skeins. You’ll have to visit each shop to collect all 6 colors. Mini skeins are $5 each.
You’ll get the chance to purchase the full skein of yarn from that shop. Each shop has a different main color. If you love it. You can buy it:)
You’ll get a chance to win a door prize at each shop.
We have ordered more yarn this year than last year, hopefully, we have enough for everyone. If we run out of yarn, no worries. We will special order the mini skeins if we run out. You will still have to visit each shop in person, during PEEP, to special order the mini skein and get the pattern piece. We won’t be selling the minis over the phone.
Shops will be open regular hours for PEEP and the hours at each shop vary. So make sure to check the hours of each shop to plan your visits. Click here to download driving directions and hours.
