We are so glad to be back teaching classes. It has been quite a different year for our yarn store.

Our shop used to be full of knitters and crocheters daily. Sitting around working on projects, talking, laughing and learning. We miss that so much.

We do still see some of our regular groups, who bring chairs and sit in the shade or the sun, still connecting. We do still have people pop in for help, we help pick up stitches and decipher patterns with customers. But it isn’t the same. A bit of the energy of the shop feels like its on hold until we can get back to groups back in person.

So it was with anxious excitement that we announced our first Hybrid Learning class. It was our Christmas Stocking Class.

We love this class, it is one of our favorites. We’ve taught it dozens of times over the last 11 years (by the way…we are turning 11 October 9th!!!) . We were nervous that we wouldn’t be able to get all the information to you over zoom and a short 30 minute in person lesson. But guess what? We did!

This is just a few of the 15 Christmas Stocking students we had this session! So fun!

And this…this brings us endless joy. Clare finished her stocking and sent us this email.

Hi Aimee,

Thank you so so much for your help tonight! I really appreciate you ladies and the time you take to help all of us still learning.
I finished the heel tonight and ended up doing the second Finchley Graft — it looks great! (If I do say so myself… 😉)

This class has been so nice for helping to build back in that little bit of community we’re all missing during this pandemic. I know it’s helped me greatly. Thank you for all you and Carly do; you are greatly appreciated. 🥰

Thanks Clare and everyone that trusted us with this class. WE are grateful for YOU.
