Update: Hwy 95 is reopened!!

————————————–
We have been LOVING downtown Stillwater since the new St. Croix River Crossing opened last August. This is our first summer without the Lift Bridge traffic and it is so great! You can pop into town now without worrying about getting stuck for the lift bridge.

Well, we have one more hurdle this summer. Hwy 95 (main street) will be closed for 3 weeks starting Monday, June 11th. Now, please keep reading…this does not mean that all of Main Street will be closed or that you can’t get to our shop. The street in front of our shop will be open and our parking lot as well. You just have to do a bit of a detour to get to us.

Hwy 95 (Main Street) will be closed from Hwy 36 to just before the Oasis Cafe. The closure is actually only about 1/4 mile of Hwy 95. What does that mean for you? That means that you have to follow detour signs from Hwy 36 to our shop. Don’t let it worry you, just leave yourself ample time to get to us. The parking lot to our South and our Brick Alley Parking Lot are both still open!

If you are coming from Wisconsin and don’t want to go all the way to Manning to get back to us, just take any of the other “back roads” downtown. You know…the ones you used to take to avoid Main Street traffic when the lift bridge was open:)

So, don’t forget about downtown…we are OPEN for businesses!
