Our building is the first brick building on the river side when you get into Stillwater from the South. The parking lot preceeding our building is FREE parking from November – May (even though it says pay park) and if you can find a spot, the Brick Alley parking lot on Nelson Street behind our building is FREE all year long for our customers!

This is the upper level of our shop. Our fabrics are on the wall to the right and our chunky and bulky yarns are in the cases on the left. If you look closely, you’ll see the lounge in the back!

We promise your kids will be happy in our kid spot! Chalk, color crayons, paper, cars, trains, books…you’ll get a good 15 minutes of shopping time in!

you really have a neat shop. I am an avid knitter and my sister(Cathy) is in process of moving to Stillwater, mn and I am here in Michigan…she is a sewer and avid quilter. I asked her to ck out the shop for me and maybe you will meet her one day. I have been investigating the new “Black Thorn Knitting Needles” Perhaps you have heard of them and they are made from “stealth jet” materials and are the newest thing out. I spend a lot of time and $$ at my lys in Grand Blanc, Mi..Beyond the Rain Forest. It’s always refreshing to talk and all with folks of like interests. Have a great day! Jill
I live in Clinton, Arkansas. We have no fabric shops and only a small yarn section in Walmart. Our closest store is in Conway, AR which is 40 miles away. I am thinking about opening a small yarn and fabric store. I see the pictures of your store and even though it looks much bigger than I can afford, I am very interested in any help or guidance you can give me. I did see where you said your time frame from idea to opening was only 6 months. How did you do it? I am a bit stumped on what to do first and how the steps go? Thank you so much in advance.
