I was project-less this weekend. I was in the quiet before the February Sweater storm begins. So, I thought I would dive into my stash and see what I had that I hadn’t seen for a while. I don’t think I have knit from my stash in 3 years. I have added to my stash however!

Anyway, as I was looking at the stash I wondered what other people’s stash might look like. l brought my iphone to Carly and showed her my photo. She said “oh boy…wait till you see mine!” I enlisted the rest of our DKA peeps…Jennifer, Heather, Krishell and Kim. They each took photos of their stash and sent them to me. I decided we had to play a game with these photos.

I don’t know any of you well enough to guess, but i want whoever owns Stash B & E to come over & organize me!
Stash E has inspired me. I am even considering taking most of my shoes and book stash to the re-sale shop so I can use those shelves in my closet for my yarn stash. However, I am not ready to tackle my quilting stash.

Oh, I have no idea whose is whose, but I love seeing your stashes! I’m going to show my husband so he knows I’m not the only one…
ok, I have no idea because I don’t knit and only come to the store occasionally to buy fabric…but this amused me to no end!! my primary crafts are paper crafting, mixed media and needlepoint…and i have stashes in all of them! this is delightful….and just for the record, my favorite is Stash E because the display can be enjoyed at the same time it is being saved!
This is especially hard because some of the yarn is hidden (I can only imagine what fantastic yarn goodies are hiding in some of those bags).

I just want to say Thank You for posting these! I can’t wait to show my husband, as he always refers to my stash as “Hoarding”! Now he’ll see that I am absolutely normal!
I wouldn’t be able to guess but I totally want Stash B’s system! Sorted by colors – I love it! I agree with Tess, got to show the husband these photos. I’ve got one large tote that’s starting to overflow but I ain’t got nothin’ on the rest of you. When are you holding the swap meet? I’ll be there! 🙂

I don’t know you guys because I live pretty far from Stillwater…but thanks for the ideas! And my husband feels better knowing that his wife isn’t a crazy yarn hoarder.
Wow! OMG! I have no idea who is who, but it is a hoot to see your stashes and know that I am not the only one with a stash that will take me into the year 2020!
Wish my stash looked like B or E. I prefer not to think of it as hoarding but projects to come. I’ve donated stash that I will never ever use.
Guess I’m not surprised about Aimee’s. And Carly did have a good excuse for throwing me off.
