It is pay parking season again in Stillwater. May 1st – October 31st.

What does that mean for us? Well, it means that the large parking lot to the South of our building is no longer free. It is a $5 parking lot.

That doesn’t mean you have to pay $5!

We have a parking lot behind our building. Simply turn towards the river on Nelson Street and drive until you see this little building.

Turn right into this lot.

This is our parking lot. It is free for our customers. You simply pick a spot and park. The whole parking lot is available to you. Even the spaces in the alley between our building and the old farm store are available to you.

In previous years, this little building has had a parking attendant, but we aren’t entirely sure it will this year. If it does, you’ll still get free parking…BUT…you’ll need to have $5 cash on hand to pay our parking lot attendant.  We won’t have a little machine, so you can’t use a credit card.  It’ll be an actual human being collecting your money.  Then, when you come into our shop, we’ll reimburse you $5.
.
We can only reimburse if you park in this Brick Alley Lot.  We can’t reimburse for other city lots.  Remember, this lot is accessed off of Nelson Street, not Main!   So, make sure you can see this sign when you pull into the lot!

This is typically the time when I start complaining about parking being more difficult in Stillwater. But, I’m not going to complain about parking this year. Nope. We spent all last summer waiting for a full parking lot. We are lucky to be open and are excited for a busy fun summer in Stillwater!

Feel free to use our Curbside Pickup option if you are just picking something up. Pull up alongside our store in the driveaway of the paid parking lot. Give us a call or text, or heck, throw your hazard lights on and pop in. It’ll be ok!

Here’s to a normal summer in Stillwater, even if it means parking challenges:)
