We love getting a box from Gary. Gary is the craftsman in Canada that makes the beautiful bird shawl pins we’ve been carrying in the shop. We just love them.  

We love everything about Gary and his pins. We’ve never met Gary, he lives in Canada. He doesn’t have a website or instagram. Gary is old school. He sent us an email with photos attached of his pins. We loved them from the start. We ordered a dozen to try them out and they sold out in days. We continue to buy the pins because they are high quality and beautiful.

Well, we love Gary’s shipping packages. Gary always finds the best boxes for the job. The last shipment was a couple of cereal boxes that he had cut and retaped together to make the perfect size. Stuffed with Subway plastic bags to give his pins extra protection.

Well, we were lucky enough to be restocked with Gary’s pins before the end of the year. We thought we would do an “unboxing” for you:) 

 

 

You probably can’t really see it, but there is a VERY thin piece of cardboard cut to fit exactly, spanning the gap that the top of the box had. Gary is not messing around. These birds are protected!
