reading the new vogue..cause if you know me you know I am a slave to fashion
picking up little bits of legos and bakugans, cause that’s what moms of 6 year old boys do
waking up at the crack o dawn to go to beach body bootcamp this morning…WHY…cause who would want to stay in a nice warm bed past 5am anyway?

I am 6 inches into the sweater. At this rate, it’ll take me 8 weeks to finish…Just about the time when my beach body will be complete:) And yeah, I know that girl scout cookies and a beach body aren’t exactly a perfect pair.

I’m not 😛
I’m forcing myself to do some every day. Even if it’s just a row or two. Unfortunately, I had to rip out 4 rows last night when I realized that I didn’t put my buttonhole in where I should have put it (I’m knitting the bands at the same time as the sweater). There goes some of the progress I made… GGRR. I’m about 7 inches in.
I’m about 6.5 inches in and I was watching how long it took me to get a repeat of knit and purl done and thinking at this rate it will take me till the end of April, not March! Watching videos on how to purl faster yesterday didn’t help my purling any either…Such a pretty sweater though!
I’m just finishing the back, though my design is a different one – I really had to ponder the instructions on how to do the back neckline – then ended up doing it in a way that made sense to me, so hopefully the pieces will fit together or I will be having fun frogging later…..
I am the Pickadilly steeker.
Aimee – progress is slow for me too, although I am actually enjoying this sweater – I love the yarn and I love the “in the round” knitting. But there is no way my sweater will be done in March.
Maybe by the end of April.
Perhaps we need a Pickadilly support group.
But there is no way I am going to sew on the lace edging – that baby is going to be crocheted right onto the sweater.
Hey Karen…I am going to be lucky to finish this thing in March too. Wow…slow going. I FINALLY have the sleeves held off and am knitting the rest of the body. I agree…no sewn on lace edge for me. No way! Yes…a support group will probably be necessary for this one! I actually am excited about it now that I am into it. I tried it on and it’s gonna be cute!
