It’s almost that time again, another year of 12 in 12’s!

We are doing things a little differently this year.  We are going to have a class for each sweater this time around.  You don’t have to take the class to participate, but if you do, you’ll be guaranteed dedicated time by a DKA professional:)

We’ll still be doing our 20% off yarn to make each sweater and we’ll still be giving out $10 gift cards to those who finish in the same month.

One big difference is that we aren’t going to be announcing the sweaters all at one time.  We have found, that when December rolls around, we really don’t want to HAVE to knit that sweater we chose 11 months before.  So, we are going to announce the sweaters by trimester.  So, all 4 sweaters and the dates of the classes are on our website.

January’s sweater is a simple pullover from Tin Can Knits Simple Collection.   The sweater is called Flax and is knit seamlessly, in the round, from the top down.  This would be the perfect First Sweater Class.

February’s sweater is one that almost all of us have in our queue.  Tea Leaves Cardigan!   Again, you can purchase yarn for this sweater all year long at 20% off and knit this sweater on your own.  If you want to get a little help in a class with other students, click here to register.

March is going to be a fun one.  Customfit is a website by the super smart Amy Herzog.  This sweater is a build your own really.  You choose the yarn you want, make a gauge swatch, enter that and your measurements into her website.  Then you pick what style you want and presto…a customfit pattern written just for you.

This would be a good class to take.  We’ll help you measure your gauge and measure you.  We’ll help you enter everything in the computer, print the pattern and get you knitting!

Kate walks us through the Shalom Cardigan in April.  This is another sweater that is in most of our queues.  Fast, easy and not much yarn required…heck,we’ll be paying you to make this sweater:)
