We’re nearing the end of the year AGAIN! My mom was right; the years do go faster the older you get:)
.
Anyway, we’ve been getting lots of questions about our 12 in 12 program and if we’ll be doing it again in 2013. The answer is yep! We sure are!
.
The game will be a bit different though.
.
We all know that I peetered out this year with the 12 in 12’s. It is just to darn much for 1 person to do. So, we are splitting up the tasks this year.
.
Here is how we expect it will all go down this year.
.
I will knit 4 sweaters, Jennifer will knit 4 sweaters, Carly will knit 1 (yes, we are making her do it), Heather, Kate and Amy B will each knit 1 too. Amy doesn’t even know it yet.
.
We will still announce the sweaters at our end of the year party. Which by the way is on Thursday night, December 27th from 6-8pm. More on that later, but let it be known that if you knit a 12 in 12, if you wanted to knit a 12 in 12, if your friend knit a 12 in 12 or even if you just read blog posts about our 12 in 12…you are invited to our party! You don’t have to have knit a 12 in 12 in order to come! If you have knit a 12 in 12 you’ll qualify for some drawings, which is fun!
.
We do know that Jennifer is the first one up next year. And we already know what the sweater is!.
.
.
It’s called Heroine and even though the girl looks like she is annoyed to be wearing the sweater, we know you will love to wear it. It’s knit out of Cascade 220 Wool (you could use any feltable wool). Cute huh? If you are interested, you can purchase the yarn for this sweater starting now. But you can’t start until January 1st! You can find the sweater on Ravelry or Twist Collective.
.
If you want to add your comments below with recommendations for us for the other sweaters, we’d love to hear them.

Been looking for a sweater I love and that’s it, Heroine. Even love the color. I work during the day, but do you have any evening classes in January? If not, is there a patern to purchase? I’ve not done a sweater before, but wouldn’t mind giving this one a shot.
