This is how we felt this morning.
We love the first of the month.
We send out a newsletter announcing the project and we wait with nervous energy hoping that you guys love our project as much as we do.
Usually by the time we get into the shop we have a dozen or so orders through our online store and we are excited to see what color combos you liked. We love to to pack them up and ship them to you.
This was a different kind of first of the month.
Carly was already here when I came in this morning and we only had 1 online order. Only 1. We were so bummed. We designed the bag and hoped you would love it.
Carly said “Well Aimee, we can’t win ’em all”.
We went through all the possible reasons…
Maybe its bad looking
Maybe it was too cheap
Maybe it was too expensive
Maybe people don’t want to knit a market bag
Maybe because the newsletter went out last night and not this morning
Maybe the photo wasn’t that great
We felt sorry for ourselves.
Then…Char called and told us the news…”ummm, I’m trying to buy one of the kits through your website and it won’t let me. It forces me to click wind and then when I do it says they are out of stock.”
WHA?!
Sure enough, as soon as we fixed the mistake online the orders started coming through.
Oh and thanks to those of you who emailed me with the problem too, sure would have been a better morning had I looked at my email sooner;)
This is how we feel now! Carly and I can’t stop giggling about it.
