Our June Makers’ League project is Undertone Cowl by Tin Can Knits.
We love this easy and fun project. Perfect for knitting on a boat, deck or at a graduation party!!

This project is already packed for you in color combos you are sure to love.

The pattern comes in three sizes. Child short, child long, adult short and adult long. The cowl above, the blues, is the adult short. The perfect length to give you a pop of color, or tuck into your jacket on a winter day without too much bulk. You can probably get 2 of these out of the kit we have packed for you.
The cowl below, the rainbow kit, is the adult long with 24 stitches added to the length to make it just a bit longer. The finished size of this cowl is 49″. We think it goes around the neck twice just perfectly.

We have packed up Hikoo Simplicity or Berroco Vintage DK. Both kits will give you enough yarn to make the largest size cowl even a little larger.

The photo above and the one just below are Hikoo Simplicity. This is a merino wool/acrylic/nylon blend yarn. The merino makes this yarn super soft. Trust us, it’s worth the few extra bucks.

The photo below shows Berroco Vintage DK. This is the Jewel Tone Kit. Vintage DK is not merino wool but it is another wool/acrylic blend. By now you all should know the vintage line. This is the smaller version of the yarn we used for Cable it Up scarf!  A workhorse yarn.

The patch for this month is Just One More Row. We think it’s perfect for this project.

Oh one more thing…speaking of one more row. We worked 4 stripes of each of the 4 colors. The pattern calls for 3 stripes. We had the extra yarn and felt like it could handle another stripe!
