Have you made sure your kids have snow pants that fit? That is my job tonight. Gah! We are pulling out all our winter wear and making sure we all have snow pants, jackets, hats, mittens and boots that fit!

For the girls? My Maggie is all over this hat, knit with Pixie Dust from Knit Collage. It’s sparkly:) We have the yarn in tons of colors now and the pattern is free.

I’m looking at this Lucy Hat by Carina Spencer. The pattern is in the newest Knitscene magazine Winter 2012, which we are getting into the shop AND the yarn is Madelinetosh Vintage which just happens to be arriving at our doorstep on Friday. Lucky us. It would look beautiful in Malabrigo Rios too.

Got a boy in your life? Maybe this hat? The tried and true Windschief from Steven West. I’ve made 2 and they are fun to knit and both guys actually wear them. I made mine in Rowan Lima. Perfect.
